Attention: Leopard users - An auto-update issue affecting users running Mac OS X 10.5.x was resolved in version 2.5 for Mac. If you have previously attempted to auto-update and have experienced issues, you will need to install this update manually. Once you have applied the update, auto-update on subsequent releases will work correctly.

Issues Fixed in 2.6.1

• Upgrading to version 2.6 would sometimes fail if the /usr/local/bin folder was not present. Uninstalling and reinstalling the client would allow the installation to proceed successfully.
• Files were not properly backed up if there were question marks in the file path.
• A rare crash could occur in System Preferences after installing the client on Mac OS X 10.5.8
• Upgrading to version 2.6 from 2.4 could cause the backups to fail in some situations. Rolling back to 2.4 would resolve the issue.
• CPU usage spikes when scanning files while System Preferences was open.
• An intermittent crash would sometimes occur during the backup process.

• Incorrectly logging the Admin email instead of the username in the log files.
• An exception occurs when the service does not send a value for the config version causing automatic backups to stop running.
• Unable to select day of the week for weekly backups in scheduling. Now all variables for scheduling a weekly backup work correctly.

Known Issues in 2.6

• Pending file count may display 0 files left to backup when files are still being sent. This is a display issue only and does not affect the backup process. To workaround the issue, avoid adding files to your backup while a backup is in process.
